We are all susceptible to certain illnesses - we all have our weak links, be they headaches or ear infections, sore muscles, coughs, cold sores, ulcers etc. and sometimes these manifest in rather more serious and painful ways. We may have inherited these susceptibilities or we may have brought them upon ourselves - unwittingly by the stresses and anxieties that life throws at us and with which we have to cope.
